Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the more frequently asked questions, if you have others please feel free to call or email us.

Q: How much space do I need for a bounce house or slide?

A: Most of our bounce houses are 13' x 13' and require a three foot clearance around the unit. At a minimum, an 15' x 15' clearance is necessary. Our slides are a most 18' high, 26' in length and 15' feet with an additional 2' needed to properly secure the unit. Our combo/obstacle unit is 60' long, 15' high and 17' wide. The combo alone is 35' in length when used dry and 36' long when used wet. Our obstacle portion alone is 25' long.

Q: What is your weather cancellation policy?

A: We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if there is severe weather. However, if weather conditions are marginal, we will contact the renter before attempting the delivery. We will discuss conditions and safety factors. The units become very slippery when they get wet and slipping can injure children and adults. High wind is also dangerous. Safety of the children will always be our first priority.

Q: Can I pick up the unit and set it up myself?

A: No. Since safety is our utmost concern, we require that our qualified technicians install the units, check them for safe operation and review all the necessary safety instructions with the person renting the unit and anyone that will be involved in supervising the operations of the bounce house.

Q: How far in advance should I reserve a bounce house?

A: We typically recommend that a bounce house be reserved three to six weeks in advance of the date needed. However, if we have availability we have no problem accepting a last minute reservation. Our recommendation though is that you book as soon as you know the date you might need a bounce house. We have a very liberal cancellation policy.

Q: Does the inflatable have to be set up in a yard or on grass?

A: No, our units can be set up on grass, dirt, concrete or in a parking lot. Instead of anchoring the units to stakes in the ground, we anchor them with sand bags for your safety. Although, if it is a water slide you maybe subject to a $50 cleaning fee if setup on dirt.

Q: Who sets up the inflatable?

A: We have a team of qualified technicians that have been properly trained to set up the bounce houses so that they can be enjoyed in a safe manner. The technicians have been instructed on how to prevent "tripping" and shock hazards.

Q: Do you have insurance?

A: Yes. However, the lessee or using party shall be in charge of operation, and are fully responsible for the operation after receiving the unit. Lessor is not responsible for any injuries occurring to lessee or to any persons using the leased units or equipment or any damage to any personal property.

Q: Does there have to be adult supervision present?

A: Yes. During our safety review after the unit is set up, we make it clear that a supervisor 18 years of age or older, must be present when anyone is in the unit to ensure its safe operation. The supervisor is there to help kids and individuals get in and out of the unit safely.

Q: What is required for set up?

A: All we really need is a relatively flat, open area that does not have any overhead obstructions and a power outlet within 50 feet of where the unit is to be set up. If no electricity is available a portable generator is available at an additional cost.

Q: How do children get in and out of the inflatable safely?

A: Our bounce houses have an inflated safety step that is an integral part of the unit. We require that a supervisor be present at all times to ensure that the kids are enjoying the unit in a safe manner and to help with entering and exiting the unit.

Q: Do I have to leave the blower going all day?

A: There is really no need to turn off the blower when the unit is set up for enjoyment. The unit uses less energy than a hair dryer. Leaving the blower on will ensure that the unit is always ready for enjoyment. However, if you do need to turn off the unit for any reason, it is perfectly safe. Just make sure everyone has exited the unit and make sure that the unit collapses onto itself and not on any sharp objects or obstructions.

Q: What are your accepted methods of payment?

A: We are very flexible as far as payment. We accept cash, check or Venmo. In some cases, a deposit will be required to make a reservation. The remaining balance will be payable at the time of delivery, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Q: Will the inflatable harm my lawn?

A: No, the unit will not harm your lawn. We place a tarp down under the bounce house to make sure that any movement will minimize any damage. We will place stakes in the yard to help anchor the unit, but this does no permanent damage.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: In most cases we do not require a deposit. However there are deposits required for rentals of larger size.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: If we require a deposit on the reservation, the deposit is fully refundable if you cancel the reservation at least 7 days prior to your rental date.
